Lawsuit Funding

Access advance cash to cover costs.

When you have a pending or settled personal injury lawsuit claim, it could be months, even a year or longer, before you receive a cash payment. You may suffer from a loss of income, lost work time, and/or medical bills. Lawsuit Funding gives you access to the funds you need to support your family, reducing pressure on you and your attorney to settle too early for too little.

Millennium Funding offers pre-settlement cash advances to plaintiffs against the anticipated award from a successful settlement or judgment. We also provide post-settlement advances to help bridge the gap between a settlement decision and a payout. It’s a no-risk, non-recourse solution, which simply means that if you lose your case, you owe us nothing.

People often use this funding solution in cases such as:

  • Automobile Accidents
  • Workers’ Compensation Claims
  • Product Liability
  • Slips and Falls
  • Construction Accidents
  • Medical Malpractice

How it works

  1. After we have spoken with you, we will contact your attorney to request the necessary case documentation.
  2. If we’re able to help, we will contact you to discuss your funding needs and the terms of our agreement.
  3. You and your attorney will then be sent an agreement to sign and return.
  4. After the agreements are returned, the funds will be overnight mailed or wire transferred directly to your account.
  5. Your attorney will be asked to provide our staff with periodic updates as the case proceeds.
  6. If and when your case is resolved, your attorney will pay Millennium Funding directly out of the proceeds from your claim.

  • Reduces pressure on you to settle too early or for too little
  • Removes stress about not having money to pay your mortgage, rent or other bills
  • No employment requirements or credit considerations
  • No upfront fees or monthly payments
  • Once approved, funds can be advanced within as little as 24 hours
  • Nothing owed until and unless the lawsuit concludes successfully

Q. Am I eligible for your services?

A. If you have been injured as a result of an accident, medical malpractice or premises/product liability and are represented by an attorney, you may be eligible for our services.

Q. How long does the funding process take?

A. In most cases, the approval process takes a few days to a week to complete. Once approved, we can advance your funds within 24 hours.

Q. How does the lawsuit funding program work?

A. Instead of loaning you money, Millennium Funding purchases a small portion of your anticipated recovery. Like yourself and your attorney, we take the risk of a successful resolution.

Q Do I have to repay the money if my case is unsuccessful?

A. There is no recourse against you and we will not try to collect the money from you. Once we advance the cash it is yours to keep.

Q. What percentage of the proceeds does Millennium Funding purchase?

A. This depends upon the nature of your injuries, the liability of the defendant, and numerous other factors. Once we evaluate your case, we’ll tailor an offer specific to your needs. We typically make advances from $500 to $50,000, limiting the funding to 10% of the projected case value.

Q. Will you fund a case before a suit has been filed?

A. If there is sufficient information in the file for us to make a determination as to the approximate value of the case.

Q. Can I seek my attorney’s advice regarding your service?

A. Yes, in fact, we encourage you to do so. We work as an advocate for you and your attorney and believe that our service provides the appropriate time to reach the most successful resolution of your case.

Q. Do you get involved in the case?

A. We do not interfere with your attorney’s handling of the case. Our only involvement is to initially review your attorney’s file so we can evaluate the claim. We have no influence on you, your attorney, or the defendant.

Q. How much does lawsuit funding with Millennium Funding cost?

A. Millennium’s prices are some of the most competitive in the industry. Our fees and interest are only paid if you win your case and are due and paid, by your attorney, when you receive your settlement or award. Remember, if you lose, you owe Millennium nothing.
